There are usually three basic probes:

One is the cooling air probe when the air conditioning heating, in the indoor unit evaporator;
One is the air conditioning heating automatic defrosting probe, in the outdoor unit condenser.

The temperature sensing head inserted into the evaporator tube of the internal machine is the tube temperature sensor if the lid of the electrical box is opened and the temperature sensor is combined with the temperature sensor. Different styles have different positions.

Principle of air conditioner temperature sensor
Air conditioning temperature sensor is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, NTC for short, its resistance value decreases with the increase of temperature, and increases with the decrease of temperature. The resistance value at 25℃ is the nominal value. Air conditioners commonly use three NTCS: indoor ring temperature NTC, indoor coil NTC, and outdoor coil NTC. High-grade air conditioners also use external ring temperature NTC, compressor suction and exhaust NTC. When the temperature changes, the NTC resistance changes, and the voltage of the CPU terminal changes accordingly.
